About the event

When women participate in mass movements, those movements are more likely to succeed and lead to more equitable, representative democracy. To create a strong and multi-networked foundation for lasting peace post-conflict, women’s voices must be included in the full scope of peace-building and implementation as well as to ensure for sustainable peace. This conversation, at Women Moving Millions’ 2024 Annual Summit, will explore how women are actively playing a role today in building peace and security and how their efforts might be replicated in other conflict-ridden regions
